Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and professional Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team in [specific location]. Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, capillary, and other specimen collection procedures accurately and safely.
  
• Prepare blood, urine, and other specimens for laboratory analysis.
  
• Label and document specimens correctly to maintain traceability and avoid contamination.
  
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of specimens according to standard operating procedures.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the collection area and equipment.
  
• Assist patients with the procedure, ensuring comfort, reassurance, and safety.
  
• Record patient information and maintain accurate patient records in line with confidentiality policies.
  
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely processing of specimens.
  
• Follow all infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols.
  
• Participate in continuous education and training to maintain professional competence.
  

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Laboratory Technician with relevant certification.
  
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in phlebotomy or clinical laboratory settings.
  
• Knowledge of standard phlebotomy procedures and safety protocols.
  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
